Wear Red for Women!

 In Uncategorized

Wear Red Day, observed on Friday, February 6th, is a day dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease, particularly among women. CSW supported this initiative by inviting employees to make a $5 donation to the American Heart Association, and by wearing red on Friday the 6th.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States and can affect a woman at any age. According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease causes 1 in 3 deaths among women each year. It’s a staggering statistic to consider and a powerful reminder of how important it is to understand our personal risk factors, family histories, and the steps we can take to protect our heart health – especially when you look around the office at the amazing women who make up our team.
