IT’S SOCKTOBER!

Happy Socktober! Did you know that socks are the most desired item by individuals in difficult transitional situations? To help meet this need, each October homeless shelters around the country participate in Socktober, a month long initiative to collect new socks for those in need. This year, the goal is to collect 2 million pairs of socks!

To show our support, CSW is collecting socks for Things of My Very Own- a local Schenectady non-profit who is participating in Socktober. If you wish to participate, we will have a donation bin set up in our reception area for new socks- all colors, sizes, and materials are accepted! The bin will be in reception during the entire month of October.
