Deborah A. Slezak Appointed as Attorney for the Village of Hagaman

Congratulations to partner Deborah A. Slezak, who has been appointed as attorney for the village of Hagaman! As a native of Hagaman, it would only be fitting to have Deb Slezak be appointed as the Village Attorney.  With over 20+ years of practice the areas of elder law, guardianship, estate planning and administration, as well as enjoying the distinction of being the Town Justice of Amsterdam for two terms, Town Attorney for the Town of Amsterdam from 1996 to 2009, and the current attorney for the Town of Florida she comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in regard to local laws, zoning ordinances, and municipals issues.  Her community is important to her.  As an active community volunteer, she has volunteered at her church and at her children’s schools where she has been a Booster Club Member of the Amsterdam High School Drama Club, the AHS Marching Rams and the AHS Boys Soccer Team.  She is also active in her son’s scout troop as a volunteer and committee member.
