SOCKTOBER!

It’s time for Socktober! CSW will be collecting socks for Things of My Very Own – a local non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention services to children impacted by extensive abuse and/or neglect. Often when children enter the care system they are removed from their homes with little to nothing. During the colder months of winter it can be more problematic because of the weather. Socks are such an overlooked staple and we want to ensure that kids in care don’t have to worry about this essential. Socks are the number one requested items at homeless shelters and crisis intervention locations. Last year we collected 500 pairs of socks!

If you would like to donate socks, a collection box will be set up in the CSW reception lobby for the entire month of October.
