Emma practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, business law, and real estate law. She joined the firm in 2019 as an intern and has since become an Associate Attorney, currently practicing under a Limited Practice Order until she is able to take the New York Bar exam.
Emma earned her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2020 with honors and a concentration in Trust and Estates. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the State University of New York, Albany, in 2016.
Before law school, Emma worked for the New York State Assembly as a Committee Assistant for both the Housing and Aging Committees. During law school, Emma gained experience in estate administration and fiduciary requirements while interning with the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Charities Bureau. Emma also had the opportunity to clerk for Hon. Stacy L. Pettit, Albany County Surrogate’s Court, after earning the New York Bar Association’s Trust and Estates Law Section’s Fellowship.
Emma lives in Cohoes with her fiancé, Kyle, and their chocolate lab, Oscar. She enjoys baking and cooking, hiking, and spending time on the water.Email Emma Schwab
