Cara Abbaticchio

Paralegal & Executive Assistant

Cara graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with and Associateʻs Degree in Business Administration. She continued her education at SUNY Albany, where she graduated with a Bachelorʻs Degree in Psychology.

Cara currently resides in Schenectady where she owns and maintains a two family home. She enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling ton new places.

Janice Bahr

Director of First Impressions

Janice Bahr joins us after a thirty year career in Education. A graduate of Concordia College, Bronxville, NY, with a BA in Education and a minor in English, Janice spent most of her professional years as a Preschool teacher in Westchester County, only recently moving back to her hometown area
of Schenectady.

She enjoys outings exploring and learning about New York State's historic sites, reading, and spending time with her family. As one of our Directors of First Impressions, it is Janice's voice you will first hear when calling us, and her smile which will first greet you upon visiting our office.

Susan Bodak


Following her employment with the US State Department in Kiev, Ukraine and Bogota, Colombia, Susan resumed her legal career in Florida. Susan currently works in the area of estate planning, working closely with all of the firmʻs attorneys. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach is appreciated by staff and clients. Susan works closely with clients to insure the accuracy of documents and to schedule and coordinate all estate planning appointments.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Susanʻs interests include music, history, and travel. Susan also is fluent in Spanish.


Cynthia Brownsey


Cyndy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Lesly College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she earned her Bachelorʻs Degree in Human Services and Global Studies. After graduating from Lesley, she worked at Albany Medical Center as an Administrative Support Associate in the Department of Psychiatry. Her interest in law then propelled her to earn her Masters of Paralegal Studies from George Washington University.

Prior to joining Cioffi • Slezak • Wildgrube, P.C., Cyndy worked as a paralegal specializing in Medicaid planning and continues to focus in that area of law at CSW. She interned at the Foundation for Land Liberty which works to protect land rights for owners in New York. While an undergraduate, she did internships relating to obtaining social services for children and the elderly.

Cyndy currently reside in Niskayuna with her husband, Pau, and cat, Elwood. She enjoys biking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and attending sports car races.

Connie Carrigan

Closing Coordinator

Connie, the firmʻs real estate closing soordinator, obtained her paplegal degree and began her real estate career as a title searcher and tite company representative for a title company in Albany, NY. With a solid foundation in title ssues, Connie has worked as a closing coordinator for over 20 years. During this time, Connie has helped thousands of clients to purchase and sell residential and commercial real estate, capably coordinating all aspects of the closing process.

Connie an Associateʻs Degree from Schenectady County Community College and is also fluent in Italian. Connie lives with her family in Niskayuna, NY.

Courtney Davis

Paralegal & Executive Assistant

Courtney graduated from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island with a Bachelorʻs Degree in English. While an undergraduate, she also spent a semester studying Wildlife Biology at the University of South Australia in Adelaide.

Prior to joining Cioffi • Slezak • Wildgrube, P.C., Courtney was emplyed as a consumer finance licensing paralegal in Albany, NY.

Stephanie Duma

Estate Administrator

Prior to joining the firm as an estate administrator and tax preparer, Stephanie worked as a Bank Trust Officer. She brings to the firm advanced knowledge of estate and trust administration and taxation. Stephanieʻs experience and commitment brings valuable service to the firmʻs clients.

Stephanie is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and holds an Associateʻs Degree in Accounting. Throughout her career, she has earned certificated from the Albany Institute of Banking in Banking and Trust Administration, NYS Bankers Association in Estate and Trust Administration and Taxation, the Practicing Law Institute in Estate Taxation and the State University of NY at Albany in Taxation in Estate Trust, Personal and Gift.

Stephanie enjoys reading, cooking, bowling, golfing, and spending time with her family.

Carol Gascoyne

Estate Administrator

Carol graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Latin. Her career began in Human Resources with a local bank and included administration of the company’s profit sharing plan. Her interest in the retirement plan component of employee benefits led to a position with an
Albany accounting firm where she designed and managed their clients’ retirement plans for 10 years.

Carol is an active volunteer in our public schools and serves as the assistant treasurer at her church. She lives in Niskayuna with her husband, David, and their two children. Carol enjoys running, reading, playing bananagrams, and spending time with family and friends.

Donna Law

Estate Administrator

Donna brings a unique perspective to her role as an estate administrator. A former bank trust officer of eleven years, she learned the ins and outs of fiduciary responsibilities for both estates and trusts. Donna also graduated cum laude Boston College Law School and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.

Trained in the fields of estate, gift, and income taxation, as well as Surrogateʻs Court proceedings, Donna is meticulous in her work and file maintenance. Her dedication to her clients is matched only by her commitment to her family.

Rose Lyons

Office Manager

Rose grew up in Albany, NY. She moved to New York City to study fashion buying and merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology and then psychology and philosophy at New York University. A few years in San Francisco and many more years in New York City later, a longing for space and nature brought her back to her hometown. She brings experience from startups, the apparel and textile, home furnishings, digital, software, and retail industries.

Rose is happiest staying in fancy airbnb’s, at museums, and enjoying good food and wine in the company of good friends.

Margaret Reyhneer

Co-Director of First Impressions

Marge shares her job with Cara Abbaticchio as our Co-Director of First Impressions, two days a week. Marge returned to work part-time after retiring from her position as Executive Secretary for Special Olympics New York after 19 years of service. In that capacity, she worked for the CEO, executive staff,
and Board Chairman/Board of Directors, facilitating their efforts administratively.

Marge is very active with her church, Good Shepard Lutheran in Glenville, supporting the choir, serving as Communion Assistant for worship services, as well as other capacities. She sings in the Burnt Hills Oratorio Society. Marge attended Hofstra University and received her professional training from
Katherine Gibbs in Manhattan.

Marge enjoys singing, reading, crafts and spending time with her family and friends

Christina Vincent

Assistant Office Manager

Christina’s career has included working in a wide range of office administration situations, primarily in the textile business as a Research and Development Techinical Engineer. After re-locating to New York from Virginia in 2008, she worked for the Unified Court System, which sparked her interest in law and provided valuable training for law office work. Christina joined our team at Cioffi • Slezak • Wildgrube P.C. as an Administrative Assistant, where her ability to handle a variety of job responsibilities has
increased the overall office productivity.

Christina is dedicated and has the willingness to take on any task at hand. She brings positive energy to people around her.

Christina enjos being with family, shopping, the outdoors, playing tennis, walking, boating, fitness, and animals.

Victoria Wojcik

Paralegal & Executive Assistant

Victoria earned her Associateʻs Degree in Paralegal Studies at Scheenctady County Community College. Prior to joining Cioffi • Slezak • Wildgrube, P.C. team. Victoria worked as a paralegal for a Latham law firm handling litigation, landlord-tenant, personal injury, and real estate matters. Victoria currently works in the area of estate planning and she is the assistant to principal partner Deborah Slezak.

Victoria is a dedicated employee who will take on any assigned task. She brings positive energy to the people around her.

Victoria resides in Broadalbin with her boyfriend, Chris, and their cats, Mitt and Remington. Victoria enjoys traveling, playing in a soccer league, fitness and getting together with friends.
