Cristine CioffiRetired

    After over 40 years in practice, primarily in the field of estate planning and administration and elder law, Cris retired at the end of June 2022.  She is enjoying spending more time with her three grandchildren!

    Cris founded the law firm in 1995 with the goal of providing quality legal services in a family friendly environment.  In 2019, Cris became of counsel to the firm as part of her retirement and the firm’s succession plan.

    Cris believes in volunteerism. She is a Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Ellis Medicine and a Trustee Emeritus and founding member of the Foundation for Ellis Medicine. In addition, Cris is a former Schenectady County Legislator and has served on the Board of Directors of many Capital District NFP organizations. Cris has received a variety of professional and community awards over her career, most recently the Women of Excellence 2020 Excellence in the Professions title. This award is in recognition of her commitment to leading a woman-owned and operated firm while ensuring policies she’s most passionate about for women in the workplace: flexibility and a family-friendly environment. She also received the Kate Stoneman Award from Albany Law School, in recognition of her advancement of women in the profession.
